Directions to Oconee Veteran’s Park From Metro Atlanta via Hwy 316 (Norcross/Duluth): Travel east on Hwy316. Exit on Hwy 53 (Hog Mountain Rd) toward Watkinsville. Cross over Hwy78 and continue on Hwy53. Once you pass North Oconee High School, travel 2-3 miles and Oconee Veteran’s Park will be the left side of Hwy53. From Metro Atlanta via Hwy 78 (Stone Mountain): Travel Hwy 78 toward Athens. Exit right onto Hwy 53 (Hog Mountain Rd) toward Watkinsville. Once you pass North Oconee High School, travel 2-3 miles and Oconee Veteran’s Park will be the left side of Hwy53. From Metro Atlanta via Hwy 138 (Conyers): Travel Hwy 138 to Monroe. Merge onto Hwy 78 toward Athens. Exit right onto Hwy 53 (Hog Mountain Rd) toward Watkinsville. Once you pass North Oconee High School, travel 2-3 miles and Oconee Veteran’s Park will be the left side of Hwy53. From Augusta via I-20: Travel I-20 to Greensboro exit for Hwy 44. Follow north into Greensboro and take the junction for Hwy 15 North towards Watkinsville/Athens. Once in Watkinsville, take the junction of Hwy 53 left (just past the Oconee State Bank). Travel approximately 2 miles till you reach the Hog Mountain Rd intersection (Rite Aid on your left and Athens First Bank on your right) Turn left and travel 2-3 miles (you will pass Oconee High School on your left). Oconee Veteran’s Park will be the right side of Hwy 53.
